Here are Uncle Rex and Tori heading to the fair. This was the first thing we saw when we got to the fair and the girls had been wanting to do this since they saw it in Italy.

The girls got all day ride bracelets and did they have fun!

This is a picture of Taylor and her cousin, Kara. Kara is 13 and lives in Oregon and she was just great with the kids, she always included the girls.

At the Beach in Oregon

Here are Tori and her cousin Cierra, they are only a month apart in age and had such a good time together. They had not seen each other since they were one year old, before we moved to Germany for the first time. Tori was so brave!

We had a picnic at the beach. Troy's grandparents drove out to see us from Iowa and Troy's Aunt Becky, who is in the sweatshirt, drove out from Eastern Oregon with Cierra. It was so great to see everyone!

1st Day of School 2007

Eventhough I haven't finished posting all of the pictures from our trip to the states I thought I would get these on the blog.
Tori wore pink camo from head to toe, it's her new trademark! Taylor got a new haircut last week and this was my third attempt to get the bottom to flip out. Where is Jessie when I need her? (Our cousin Jessie fixed Taylor's hair like this when we were in the states, I think I need a little more practice!)

Here is Tori with her friend Amelia who we met a week ago, they were fast friends and we were all thrilled that they are in the same class!!! It just makes such a difference when you move to a new place and both of them knew they would sit together at lunch and play together during recess!! Amelia just moved to Grafenwoehr this summer too.
This is Taylor and her new friend Sophie. Taylor met Sophie in camp this summer before we went to the states but they didn't see each other until Girl Scout camp at the end of summer. They have already had a sleepover and are in the same class. I guess all of my prayers were answered!!
The girls had a terrific first day and are planning what they want to do in school tomorrow. They love the playground and we spent a bit of time there after I picked them up.

Schwing Waterslide

We are back from our trip from the USA and our first stop was at the Schwing's, our cousins. Jody, Mark and Kendy picked up up from the airport prepared, with 2 cars to be able to fit our luggage. After a long morning of "shop till ya drop", Jody blew up the water slide and the girls were in business...


Taylor was so excited to go on the waterslide that she planned to wear her bathing suit on the airplane, one can never be too prepared!!
